Help & FAQ for existing clients

Answers to questions that come up once your AI booking agent is live. If you can't find what you need here, email sales@proxiblue.com.au.

The AI reads live availability straight from Cliniko for every call — it never limits or generates its own time grid, and it never hides slots that Cliniko itself offers. If it's only offering a couple of slots a day, that's exactly what Cliniko returned for that practitioner on that day.

The most common cause is a single global Cliniko setting: Settings → Online bookings → "Max appointments per day segment". Cliniko splits each day into segments (morning and afternoon) for online-booking availability, and this setting caps how many slots get offered per segment — completely separate from the practitioner's actual working hours. If it's set to 1, you'll only ever see 1 morning slot and 1 afternoon slot per day, no matter how wide the practitioner's roster is.

Two other settings are worth ruling out too, since they're easy to confuse with each other:

  • Your clinic's general "office hours" (used for our after-hours call-forwarding) — this is a setting in our dashboard, not Cliniko, and has no effect on which booking slots Cliniko offers.
  • The practitioner's actual roster in Cliniko, under My info → Edit your practitioner settings → Availability — if this is genuinely narrow for a given day, that will also limit what's offered.

To fix it: log into Cliniko, go to Settings → Online bookings, and increase "Max appointments per day segment" (or set it to Unlimited). The AI will immediately start offering the wider range, since it always reflects whatever Cliniko currently returns — no change needed on our end.
